Best Electric Cars

If you're looking for a hybrid, a Toyota Prius would be an excellent choice. However, if your pockets aren't as deep, consider looking at a Ford Focus PZEV. It gets around 37 MPG Highway, costs around half as much as a Prius (about 14 grand!), and runs very efficiently. Although fuel-efficient, Hybrid vehicles are high-maintenance and are costly to repair.

Computer Controlled Cars

None of them. They all cost a fortune to buy and maintain when compared to a conventional car. Contrary to popular belief, they still use gasoline and though they are very economical savings are only nominal when compared to other conventional high mileage cars from Honda, Toyota etc. If money is the primary reason you want a hybrid then you will be FAR better off buying a good used 2004 Civic. Fuel mileage is marginally below that of a hybrid, it is very dependable and with the $15,000.00 you save vs buying a hybrid you could buy your very own tanker truck filled with gas and keep it in your back yard for years. (OK, I exaggerate, but you get my point --- you can buy a LOT of gas for the money saved...)
